Red Rock State Park 3/18/95

I know why
they call it Red
Rock State Park,
so does the
bee and the hawk
the fly and the
trout and the
frog and the
deer.  Why?  When
the rain splashes
down upon the
dry cracked earth
animals are forced
into the water and
killed on the
jagged rock, their
blood flows
out into the water.
When the water
rises the blood
of the animals
stains the rocks
and then the
water slowly
goes down.
